CINNAMON TOAST CRUNCH MILKSHAKE

So, we (well, some of us) here at Metro are mildly obsessed with cereal-flavored desserts. Franky Fresh has a whole menu of cereal milkshakes, so consider it our new favorite burger place. By far the best one of the lot is the Cinnamon Toast Crunch shake, which combines the gentle flavor of cinnamon with crunchy bits of cereal in vanilla ice cream. Cap’n Crunch also is good. There’s also Trix, Coco Puffs and several more — and that’s not including a secret, off-menu selection, or so we’ve heard. Oh, and the burgers are really good here, too. We recommend The Fresh Prince.

SMOKE MEAT CARBONARA

This dish features perfectly thick al-dente bucatini noodles (which in our opinion are the star here) alongside sugar snaps, pea shoots and Parmigiano cheese. The first several bites are heavenly — a sensation that’s eventually weighted down by the heaviness of the sauce as you make your way through the dish. By the end, you’ll have had enough. Maybe it’s best for sharing; the restaurant actually suggests that parties share various dishes and dine tapas style, but we got greedy and wanted our own, OK?
