Celebrate Fat Tuesday with the 15th annual Mardi Gras – Carnaval Festival starting at 6 p.m. Participating venues such as Nextdoor, Fresh Café, Bar 35 and The ARTS at Marks Garage will offer special programming, including live music and performances by Cherry Blossom Cabaret and more. Food from Dat Cajun Guy, Do Braza Hawaii, Mom’s Soul Food Crabwings and The Pig & The Lady also will be available at multiple festival venues. We know, we know — why on earth would you care about a collectors expo? But trust us. Booths run the gamut from jewelry and coins, to rare memorabilia from former airline companies or classic Zippo lighters. So as cliché as it may sound, you really never know what you may find.
